Most tows happen on pavement. The ones people remember do not.
When the roads go white
Snow in Harnett County does not last long, but it does not have to. One slick curve, one tap of the brakes, and a vehicle is off the shoulder and into the trees before anyone can react.
Those are the calls that come in when other outfits have parked for the day. We chain up and go. Winching a vehicle back up an icy bank without adding a scratch takes patience and the right angle, and that is the part we are good at.
A mile down a logging road
Some vehicles are nowhere near a road at all. Hunting tracks, cut lines, fields after a hard rain, driveways that turn to soup. Plenty of trucks turn around at the treeline.
We walk it first, pick the line, and pull. Long cable, careful rigging, no tearing up the land on the way out. If we can get you rolling without loading you at all, that is what we do.
