While you wait for the truck
Four things that keep you safe and shorten the call once we arrive.
Get off the travel lane
If the vehicle still moves, pull as far right as the shoulder allows. Hazards on, wheels turned away from traffic.
Wait behind the guardrail, not in the car
On an interstate shoulder, exit through the passenger door and stand uphill and behind the barrier. Take keys, phone and wallet with you.
Have the details ready
Nearest mile marker or cross street, year and model, whether it rolls and steers, and if it is AWD or lowered. That decides which truck we send.
Clear the trunk decision
Know where the vehicle is going: home, a shop, or our lot. If you are not sure, we can store it tonight and move it in the morning.
